My daughter is finally doing well academically and excelling! I appreciate this program not only for their excellent education department/team but allowing me, a single parent, the ability to provide for my child. Thank you Visions and Christina – my daughter’s teacher!
Our CT (credentialed teacher) is well educated in the homeschooling path and can advise and support us easily on our journey. Every curriculum request is handled quickly and efficiently and monthly enrichment days are enjoyed by our children.
We love Visions!! They are so organized, orders are quick and we print vouchers straight off the website. Trust me we have considered carefully the other choices in charter schools in the area but Visions and our amazing teacher have been a great fit for our family!
We have been to events hosted by Visions and they are even more enjoyable than the same type of event hosted by other schools! I was impressed and even kind of surprised. Love, love, love Visions In Education! Highly recommend.
with them for 8 years, and each year is better than the last. They give you as much support as you need and want. Both my kids are extremely happy with their education and freedom of learning. Our teacher has had our kids since kindergarten and knows them so well. Even this many years later we are happy with Visions and all they offer our kids, no other charter compares.
I homeschool my four children and we love it! Our teacher is amazing and so is all the staff! My only regret is that we should have homeschooled sooner.

Counselors meet with students to offer support and to ensure students are on track academically. Teachers will provide progress updates regularly and schedule meetings with parents and guardians to discuss student progress.
Students will be able to transition between programs at semester and end of year. Due to the significant disruption to a student’s instruction that comes from changing programs mid-semester, we will not be able to accommodate changes at other times.
The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) program requires that all public schools in California administer standardized tests designated by the California State Board of Education to all students in grades 3 through 8 and grade 11. All students are expected to participate in standardized testing. Students are typically scheduled to complete these tests at various locations throughout our nine-county service area or online.
Learning Assessments provide valuable information to students and teachers. This vital information enables students, teachers and parents to understand what our students already know and what they are ready to learn next. These learning assessments are a critical component in developing their individualized learning plan. Assessments are administered using Curriculum Associates (iReady). Learning Assessments will be referenced in the student’s Master Agreement and will be administered to all Visions students.
Visions students enjoy all the social opportunities other middle school students have and many more. These include field trips, regional events, student clubs and extracurricular writing classes. Activities vary by grade, but all students are given opportunities to socialize and make new friends.
Students have access to hundreds of approved vendors that provide services like karate, music, coding, art, horseback riding and more. Each year Online Middle School students are provided a $1,500 budget to explore their interests and learn outside of school.
We support students with special needs through a variety of programs, including our Special Education Services.
Special Education: As a public school, Visions In Education provides special education and related services through Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to students who qualify. The service delivery model at Visions varies from that typically provided at a traditional school campus with a focus on individualized supports uniquely designed to enable eligible students to make progress within our home school and independent study programming.
In our home school model, parent partners and students alike are provided with support from both general education and special education teachers. While parent partners provide daily instruction through a homeschooling model, the student’s credentialed teacher and special education team will always work with families to make progress toward student goals.
In the Independent Study and University Prep Early College academies, students attend general education classes with the support of special education teachers and service providers. Each student’s IEP team will carefully craft an IEP that supports them in this unique setting with careful consideration of accommodations necessary to access instruction. Our special education case managers work closely with their general education counterparts to provide the appropriate support and guidance individualized for the student.
We look forward to working together as a team to create an IEP that is reasonably calculated to provide educational benefit to our students. For more information please contact our Enrollment Team.
