Your Voice Matters At Visions – Join Our Writing Class
Visions In Education offers students more than just the option to complete classes from home. Our programs provide the flexibility and support students need to learn and embrace who they are.
Your Voice Matters
Our Find Your Voice writing class, in partnership with nonprofit 916 Ink, gives students the freedom to write what they want. Students in the class feel confident and improve their reading and writing skills without feeling judged and confined.
“The class definitely helped me academically. Before I would dread writing, it was the last thing on my to do list. And now I write everyday.” – Maribella Smith, Visions Graduate

About the Class
In the class students write what they feel according to a variety of prompts. They share their work with the class and provide feedback to each other. At the end of the class their work is published in a book and celebrated at a release party.
Students do not need to consider themselves a “writer” to sign up for the classes. Our goal is to provide a creative and collaborative environment in which any student can grow and become a published author.
This class is open to high school students in all academies and home school students in grades 6-8.
