Visions In Education’s main offices & Student Technology Services (STS) will be closed on February 13th & 20th in honor of Lincoln’s Day (2/13) and Presidents’ Day (2/20). Our offices will be closed all day and will resume services on February 14th & 21st at our usual hours.
February 13th is observed as Lincoln’s Birthday, a day to commemorate the birth of the Sixteenth President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln.
February 20th is observed as Presidents’ Day. Originally a holiday celebrating the birthday of President George Washington, Presidents’ Day became a federal holiday in 1971 as part of the Uniform Monday Holiday Act. Read more about the history of Presidents’ Day here.
