Visions is a Proud Sponsor of the Walk4Literacy
With our “Visions In Education Cares” sign held high, a large group of Visions students, staff, family, and friends participated in the 4th Annual Walk4Literacy on October 21.
Visions is a sponsor of the event each year and is proud to offer 50 free slots to Visions families, friends, and staff. It was a beautiful (but slightly chilly) morning for the walk, which started in Oak Park, wound through the streets of Sacramento, and finished at Cesar Chavez Park in Downtown Sacramento, where guests were greeted by the Walk4Literacy Festival.
The Walk encourages public awareness around the importance of children’s literacy, and seeks to help all children reach grade-level reading.
A big thank you to all the walkers who braved the early Saturday morning cold to support this great cause! Learn more about the importance of the Walk here and see photos of the team on our Facebook page!
